# Gifting

As giving presents is common socially, we very much encourage this behavior in MatchNova. Users are able to send NFTs they own to certain users by simply filling in the receiver’s UID.

Together with the NFT gift, a customized gift message with a maximum length of 50 characters can also be included. 

**Note: It costs** [**MCC**](/whitepaper/tokenomics/mcc-utility-token.md) **to use the gifting function. The cost is based on the NFT character's rarity.**
